Product
Thanks to the integrated LTE module with SIM card, the sensor communicates completely independently via the mobile network. No gateway, no router, and no additional infrastructure is required. This makes it ideal for isolated installations in remote, hard-to-reach, or infrastructure-free locations – with reliable real-time transmission from the very beginning.
Flexible use – with or without snap trap:
- When used with snap traps, the sensor precisely detects and reports the exact time of activation — ideal for tracking and documentation in digital pest control.
- Even without a snap trap, the traptice® rodent + PIR functions as an intelligent motion detector — perfect for early detection in areas where traps are not permitted or desired.
Hardware
An integrated LTE module with SIM card is built directly into the sensor. This means no additional infrastructure such as a gateway or router is required. The sensor communicates independently and reliably via the mobile network – ideal for use in remote or hard-to-reach locations. The powerful LTE connection enables battery-powered continuous operation for up to one year – perfect for long-term deployment under real-world conditions. The compact design allows for flexible installation in a wide variety of environments.

With our cloud-based system, you can centrally manage all registered devices — whether rodent traps, insect monitors, or external sensors.
When a snap trap is triggered, the system immediately sends a real-time alert to the portal. Additionally, environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and vibrations are recorded and clearly visualized.
The user-friendly dashboard gives you instant access to all relevant data at any time. In addition to clear visualizations, you can set custom alerts to receive automatic email notifications for critical values. This way, you always stay informed and can provide your customers with up-to-date information about the on-site status.
