Product
traptice® insect is based on a proven, robust insect monitor that has been successfully used in practice for years – now combined with intelligent, digital technology.
Pest insects are attracted using specific attractant tablets or pheromones and trapped on an adhesive surface. The integrated camera sends a daily image of the adhesive surface, enabling continuous monitoring of insect infestations—even remotely. Additionally, sensors record temperature and humidity to detect potential influencing factors early.
An AI automatically analyzes the images, counts and classifies the insects, while all data is clearly displayed in a user-friendly online dashboard.
Available for rent or purchase, traptice® insect LTE is the smart solution for efficient digital pest control in indoor environments. Thanks to its compact design, the device can be placed precisely where it is needed most. With its integrated SIM card and LTE module, there is no need for a router or existing network infrastructure.
Hardware
Inside the traptice® insect, high-quality sensors and two precise cameras work together to enable continuous monitoring of the adhesive surface and relevant environmental conditions. The sensitive technology is protected by a splash-proof, robust housing – ideal for use in a variety of indoor environments.
The integrated digital transmission unit securely and reliably sends image data and sensor readings to the cloud, where they are available for analysis and documentation. The built-in SIM card and LTE module eliminate the need for a router or existing network infrastructure.
The detector is powered by four standard AA batteries. Thanks to energy-efficient technology, maintenance-free continuous operation for up to one year is possible. For maximum flexibility, the device can be easily and residue-free mounted on walls using double-sided adhesive tape.
