Product
The traptice® rodent was specifically developed for professional use in digital pest monitoring. The sensor can monitor up to two snap traps.
The energy-efficient LoRaWAN technology enables long battery life and easy integration even in hard-to-reach locations. The compact device is compatible with many common bait boxes and tunnels (e.g., nagtag, Speed-Break).
When triggered, the system immediately sends a notification, including all recorded environmental data. Through an API interface, the data can be seamlessly integrated into existing documentation systems.
The traptice® rodent is available both for rent and purchase. When purchased, a monthly fee for system usage applies in addition to the acquisition cost.
Hardware
At the core of our digital rodent monitoring system is high-quality sensor technology, housed in a robust, splash-proof casing. Our traptice® rodent device can be used in various common rodent traps. The device is placed between up to two snap traps. If there is only one snap trap in the box, the second sensor can be deactivated during setup in the app. The magnets are mounted on the snap trap bars using a simple holder. We are happy to check compatibility with your existing equipment for you.

Software
With our cloud-based system, you can centrally manage all registered devices — whether rodent traps, insect monitors, or external sensors.
When a snap trap is triggered, the system immediately sends a real-time alert to the portal. Additionally, environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and vibrations are recorded and clearly visualized.
The user-friendly dashboard gives you instant access to all relevant data at any time. In addition to clear visualizations, you can set custom alerts to receive automatic email notifications for critical values. This way, you always stay informed and can provide your customers with up-to-date information about the on-site status.

Whether for insect monitoring or rodent management, all sensors within the traptice® system regularly transmit precisely captured data — and, if needed, image recordings — securely to the cloud. There, the data is centrally processed, documented, and made available in real time for further analysis.
